lost a hunting buddy
His name was cohanzick Creek Dakota 12 years ago my wife and I made a trip to North Dakota to heart River kennel got stuck in a snowstorm in Ohio for three days to trip. I'll never forget. He was a good hunting dog ugly, but a good hot dog. My daughter who the time was 12 ran in and the GWP national where she put a Junior Hunter on the field marshal asked if I hunt with that dog. He laughed and told me to buy a horse yet that boy can cover some ground Jerry Lee's grandson has some boots to fill I will miss that big ugly dog

So sorry. It sounds like you got a lot of good years out of that dog for sure! I bet your daughter has some great memories of him.

Thanks everybody. And yes, my daughter has a lot a memory with him. She trained him. He had his own way of doing things my daughter probably has more memory with the dogs than me put five Junior Hunter's on our dogs. Thanks cc

I know the feeling and I don't think you ever get over missing those special dogs.

Condolences cohanzick creek... They never live long enough.
Heaven goes by favor. If it went by merit, you would stay out and your dog would go in.
