blank gun

need my first blank gun for hunt tests. are they all created equal? recommendations?

I favor the shotgun primer pistols over any other. Cheap, easy to find ammo.

Not as well made as NEF or Alfa, but the hold up pretty good, they get the job done and cost half as much.

Buy the best and the saying, "you get what you pay for" applys when buying a blank pistol. The NEF and Alfa's are great. I know many people who have bought the $20 pistol and within a few weeks were looking for a new pistol. Again, you got to pay to play, so get ready to pay!

$20 - absolutely, it won't last long. A $60-$70 gun will hold up pretty good, though. It might not be the last blank gun you ever have to buy, but it'll do the job and last you several good years.

Get an NEF and if the time comes that you don't want it, there will be a easy market to sell .
