Savannah River and Region 16

Anyone know when these two trials are? The NGSPA website indicates the Savannah River trial starting on Jan 12, 08. This is two weeks earlier than this past year and also the same week the Region 16 ran this past year.

I haven't seen either advertised in the Field yet.

It is not required to advertise the trials in the field until 14 days before the start of the trial, so you may not see the ad for awhile. The NGSPA website is accurate most of the time. Let me put it this way. It is accurate all the time, since the info. on the site comes from the trial secretaries, but it has happened once or twice that the announced date of a trial gets changed at the last minute because of conflicts. That 14 day rule always applies though.

I'm mostly curious about the dates of the two trials and if they were switched. I know the Reg 16 this past year ran around Jan 15 and Savannah River about Jan 27. This year Sav. Rvr is advertised as Jan 12. Just curious if they switched the dates around for the two trials or if the Reg is not running?

The Januaary 12 date is correct for the Savannah River and the 1st of February for the Region 16. I won them both last year the the 16 was in February at Waynesboro.

Ken B Farm for Savannah River on the 12th, have it marked to go to both.

That makes sense. I was going by the Birddogposse website for last year's circuit schedule. I guess it was a typo.

Well, that is cause the guy who maintains that Posse site is just a dolt, Hank. I can say that cause its me.

I fixed it. The correct dates are up on the site now.

Actually, that schedule started life out as a spreadsheet I kept to have the tentative schedule for the trials out west, which are the ones we go to, and I just added the eastern trials as an afterthought one day, cause I thought some people might be interested in em. So I probably did not pay full attention to them. Anyway, that is my story and I am stickin' to it.
