Quail Hunt
I put some birds out for my young pointer Belle and my setter Sally. Birds flew well and dogs did great. The days of finding wild birds seem to be over here in Tennessee.

You can feel good about that.

Re: Quail Hunt
How have you been, Friday nights aren't quite as busy anymore, I need to start doing some more of this too. I had started a couple of weeks ago and my dog got hit in the front leg by a mocassin, so he has been taking it easy for a couple of weeks. I hope his recovery picks up pace a little, Christmas break doesn't last forever.

Re: Quail Hunt
Did you get up to Turner's or did you put them out around home?

Re: Quail Hunt
I put these out close to home. You know school teachers can't afford those expensive preserve hunts. I hope your dog is ok. We need to get together and work dogs during Christmas break. I went to South Dakota back in November. It was too warm for the dogs but we did bring home 40.

I would love to do something during the break. Nice pictures of your pheasant hunt.
