What are you watching on TV?
Of course besides the NFL and the bowl games. I am looking forward to the new season of Justified and more of The Walking Dead.

Exactly. I hate sitcoms ( Honey Boo boo types) , talk shows that "use" people for entertainment, shows that are on every week so that I'm ticked if I miss one. That doesn't leave much : biography , sports of all kinds except basketball, nature shows , Cops, PBS and the odd movie.

I am not interested in paying $50 a month to watch companies commercials so I haven't had TV for about 20 yrs now. I do have an old TV set, a VCR and DVD player and about 300 movies!

Got home from hunting, turned on the TV, to movie "Reptilicus". Wish I hadn't fallen asleep shortly thereafter, as I think it was going to be a doozy. Description was about finding a prehistoric lizard tail and growing the rest of the lizard from that. A town was terrorized or so it said.
Evidently it's a sci-fi weekend, because the follow up movie is titled "Konga". "A mad scientist, trying to create a cross between humans and vegetation, sends a monkey out to dispose of those who stand in the way of his dastardly plans." Can you tell I don't have cable/dish TV? Break out the popcorn!
With antenna TV, Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, Grimm, Person of Interest, Park Avenue 666 (?), Amazing Race, NCIS

Netflix mostly. We got rid of our cable. Couldn't justify the expense. Got an antenna for the local channels, and spend $9 a month for Netflix. Saves us about $1,200 a year.

Don't have regular t.v. or satellite - we do Netflix only. Found we were spending too much time watching the cable when we had it so we cut it off - don't have any local channels since we live in BFE. It's been over 3 years and we don't miss it much at all.

I just got done watching the Crosby, Stills and Nash concert circa 2012 on AXS TV. Stills is 68, Crosby and Nash are both 71. They still have their "chops". Now I am watching Joe Jackson and the Bigger Band.

That is what we do at our house...pretty easy to not have cable. Plus we watch all the hunting shows we want using huntit.tv and filmon (let's us record shows on the pursuit channel).

There are some great fights and great champions out there.
Tomorrow on Showtime:
Paul Malignaggi vs. Adrien Broner (for Malignaggi's welterweight title, as Lightweight Champion Broner jumps TWO weight divisions)
co-feature Johnathon Banks vs. Seth Mitchell (excellent heavyweight fight)

I'm with Jack, we save about $90 a month with no cable or satellite. Last 5 years, t.v. free - over $1,700 in savings....I'm buying a new shotgun or two.
We do like Netflix also - streaming. I like the Walking Dead and watch it on Netflix. Also enjoy the oldie stuff like Andy Griffith, Star Trek, etc. Loved Last Man Standing on Netflix.

I have become a real fan of Netflex and Amazon, may add Hulu and drop the $100 DirecTV and add an old fashion antenna for local stations.
My smart TV has changed my outlook.
