Katie ended up 3rd on Saturday's elimination trial. Went 4/4, including one bird she pointed that I ended up finding in a varmit hole 4" underground. Had 2nd place all day until the last brace when another dog went 4/4 and a back. Oh well, I'm still happy with any placement at a regional elimination trial. Sunday she ran and found 2, her bracemate beat her to the third bird. He's a 5x champion so that makes getting beat a little easier to take. I did not move on to the next round and ended up 8th in the region overall. She'll be 3 years old on May 5th, so I think she's doing just fine for her age, already has 9 points with one first place. I have much training to do over the summer, I think next year will be even more of a breakout year for her.
