Training in the cold mornings

I'm proud to say that I was quick enough with my cell phone to snap this pic whilst training Monday morning. Usually I forget my digital camera. Luckily, my cell phone camera is a 1.3 megapixil so the quality isn't all that bad.

Justus has really come around with his training now that we took off the e-collar for good. He hunts like crazy, ranges out farther than ever before, and, honestly, obeys my verbal commands better. As with all training, things are going day to day; but, performance is up and we're slowly and steadily moving forward, which is all a guy can ask. I'd rather take the time and go slowly with minimal pressure rather than move too quickly at this stage in the game.

Chalk that one up to research before purchase. It's the Motorola E815, which I got primarily for the purpose that I can sync it with Outlook, a 'la PDA-style. The decent camera and the fact that I get cell reception where most phones fail, even in buildings deemed as cell phone black holes, were bonuses.

I've come to really enjoy the handiness of that camera, something I used to think cell phones should be without.

Now if I can just get the wind to stop gusting 50mph around here, training will be back on.
