Ch/FC Kyle's Hightailing Luke will be missed

Post by Hi-N-Kennels » Sun Dec 09, 2007 7:50 pm

It is with sad words that I am reporting that 3xCH 1xRU FC Kyle's Hightailing Luke passed away unexpectedly last night. Luke was 6 years old & due to have his 7th B-day 2/13/08. He recently won the Pheasant Ch. All Age last Nov for the third time in the last 4 years. I was fortunate to be involved in the development of Luke(He was named after my son Kyle) until he was two with assistance of Chris Geogan. It was evident that he was going to be something special at about 13 months old & the decision to sell him to Dr Robert Reynolds was made to give him the opportunity to be campaigned at the national level.Luke was expertly handled by Chris Goegan throughout his career. Luke will surely be missed by all!

Don't know what to say except that just sucks. One heck of a dog. His legacy will live on through some of fine offspring he's produced.

Hank please pass on our deepest sympathy to Chris and Doc as well as to you. Luke was a nice dog and still should of had more time to show us what all else he had to bring on. He will be remember and as was already said he's legacy will live on through his get.

Take care and Merry Christmas.

We (Hank,Chris&Doc) Thank You for support. Luke had left too early & will be missed. Doc & I are fortunate to have offspring(Kane & Ruby) that carry alot of Lukes traits.

Very sorry to hear about Luke. He was a nice dog. It is hard for them to leave us at anytime, but especially when we feel that it was way too early for them to depart. May his life be carried on through the offspring! Hard to now, but keep the memories close and slowly they will be joyable ones again.

Just seen this post, I haven't been on for a while...I can't believe it. So sorry to hear this. As you know, we were at the Pheasant Championship and he seemed so good. Do you know what happened? He was such a great dog with so much more potential. He'll definately be missed.
