Reading this you can feel your incredible love for Grif. I could feel your heartfelt grief, loss and something else incredibly unselfish as you let go with love.......... May we all be able to do this...our dogs give us so much and they are here so short a time.

I am a veterinary technician and am there when owners lose their precious pets each day. I always try to be there for both the pets and for the owners...when owners 'can't' stay for euthanasia..I assure them I will send their pets off with lots of love and well wishes.

When I saw your picture of Grif's empty collar, his picture and the urn...it said it all........Godspeed my friend........... take care and know we all have been there and will be there again......

May the memories made in life be your comfort and peace during this difficult time. Rest assured that your beloved Grif is awaiting you when the time comes.

Blessed be.

Bird~

Just saw this thread to tributes. Sounds and looks like Grief was an awesome dog.

One of our Nat'l All Age Champions/FC/Reg/Species Champions Heidi Ho's MRT "Mert" passed away healthy and happy at the home of Windwalker Kennels in MN on Sept. 19th. Mert was an awesome dog and has some awesome pups out there trialing now to carry on his name. It's a "bleep" shame that some of these out crossing (to most pros and owners) dogs only get bred a few times because of color, size, ect..... Anne & Phil took awesome care of Mert in his last few years of life up in MN living in their house and going out and enjoying life. Mertie is back at home as well as his collar here in KS at/with BDK. His son FC/ Reg Champ/Nat'l RU Champ MRT's Bingo Buck "Buck" and his grandson Bingo Buck's Toast To Slick "Slick" are still competing and campaigning with Blue Dawn Kennels. Don't miss out on breeding to well bred dogs again. Slick is a son of Buck by Mert and showing TONS AND TONS OF BIG BIG PROMISE!!!! Anyway.

Our hearts and memories of our past champions on paper and in our own hearts. May God bless you all and we'll see you on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge.

Yours at Blue Dawn Kennels~
Robbi & Keith
