Our Beloved Rottweiler Cassie

A month ago we lost our young Rottweiler, Cassie, only three months shy of 4 years old. Somehow she picked up a bacterial skin infection that she was not able to fight off. Ugly sores developed over most of her body, a couple different antibiotics over the course of three weeks had no effect and she passed quietly here at home while my wife and I held her, cried over her and assured her that she was a wonderful dog and that we loved her very much. Even my GSP Miranda seemed to bid her a final fairwell, nuzzling Cassie as she took her final breaths. They were buddies and playmates. RIP, Cassie ...
