Diesel's tribute

Today, Memorial Day, 2012 we lost our grandson's Llewellin Setter. He was 18 months old and showed great promise. I was caring for him as my grandson is leaving for the U.S. Navy soon. He wants to be a SEAL. I was giving the dogs fresh water when he ran across the street and was killed. He did not suffer. We will miss him so. He loved swimming in our pool with us and being a buddy. RIP Diesel Dog.

Pointed birds: If it's flyin', it's dyin'.

In 1969, the only woodstock I saw was on my M-14.

Very sorry.

My grandson is now serving his country as an Airman on board the USS Eisenhower (CVN 69) deployed to the North Arabian Sea, providing combat support missions to the troops on the ground in Afganistan. They have replaced the USS Stennis. We are so proud of the 4500 sailors and Airman abord and all the sailors in the IKE's Battle Group. Please pray for a safe return & follow the ship on facebook @ USS D.W Eisenhower (CVN69).
