Today is a bad day in the Nance house with the loss of our main man Nance's Running River (Rivman)
river was a good buddy to me and all around a good bird dog. I'am at a loss write now but i just had to tell all my gundog freinds
any of you that know or have talked to me know river was my first birddog and with all the help on this fourm he turned out to be a good hunting buddy for me and my family 3 1/2 years was not any way long enough time to have that good of a freind well thanks to every one that helped me with (riv) I will get another dog and hunting buddy but he will be missed a great deal!!!!!!

Sorry for your loss, it never gets easier. Have been through it twice in the last two years. He prob taught you way more than you taught him.

That is always the worst thing, people who dont understand dog lovers dont understand that they are are a part of the family that we are losing. I fell your pain, and I hope you see part of him in your next pup.

I lost my favorite dog ever to liver failure at 3 years old, I feel your pain.

So sorry to hear about your friend. It's especially difficult when they go before their time. Incidentally, we lost our 15 year old setter on Sunday.

That truly stinks, and we all grieve with you. I think all of us have lost a dog at some point. Tears your heart out. It really stinks they are only on this earth a short while.

Sorry really it is not good…
Few months ago I had a dog name Lalu but suddenly one day he gets accident by car and he is no more now. No one could understand my feelings for him. He was my family member love him. I can understand you now.
