Rick just lost his buddy Rebel, at 15.. 7 x NSTRA Ch Gambles Rip-n-Rebel. He was 3 years Hi Point Dog in Ga. Rebel was also Ricks best bird hunting buddy...He will be missed here at Walnut Hill... :cry:

my condolences. You never like to here of a good huntin buddy leaving, but 15 years what a long time to have one around.

Sorry to hear since it is hard to give them up. But be sure to keep the memories that he provided as those are what make evrything worth while. Rick I know the pain as I am sure you do but those memories will go on and on.

My sincere condolences. Rebel was special. There is no telling how far he would have gone if he hadn't been injured.

15 years old...Old Rip put the longevity into them, didn't he?

So sorry for you! We just lost a good one too, and I haven't been able to deal with it yet. It sounds like he had a good run and a long life!

Sorry to hear. At least this was not a case of "the good .. they die young". Fifteen years of memories to last a lifetime, that's about as good as it gets.
