Goodbye to a Good Dog

Post by skeetermc » Wed Nov 09, 2011 8:12 pm

One of my best hunting buddies had to make that final vet run for his dog Max. Max was a great Springer Spaniel and I have shot many flushed pheasant and blue quail over Max.
Thanks for your hard work and your calming spirit.

It's always sad when a dog dies, worse when aa good dog go.
I pity the man that has never been loved by a dog!

Always hard to see 'em go. Your friend may find comfort in
knowing Max has gone to endless fields full of birds to flush.
Tell him we sorry.

Always a tough time Skeeter. This has been around for a while, but always worth a quick read when we lose one of our four legged buddies:

You could live without a dog, but it would not be worthwhile.
