cecil's chelsea

Post by larue » Fri Jan 28, 2011 8:22 pm

We had to end chelsea's pain today as she had cancer. it was time.Chelsea was a rescue dog we took on at the age of 3,and has spent her life with us,until she passed at almost 14.
She was a half sister to my max dog,and we had one litter out of her, which turned out very nice.
When we got her,she could not run,as she had spent her life in a scotts kennel,it took years of running her with my trial dogs before she could actually stride right.
Chelsea was a driven bitch who loved birds, and would eat a bird if you let her,she was bird crazy.
She had one of the best temparments I have known, with never once growling in her life.
In her later days, one of our favorite things to do,was to have a whiskey with me,she loved whiskey sours.
She would wait up nights for my wife to come home, only then would she come to bed.
We will miss chelsea, but at least we have her memories.

It's not how many breaths you have taken but how many times it has been taken away!

Has anyone noticed common sense isn't very common anymore.
