Lost a great hunting partner

Post by zodiakgsps » Sun Jul 11, 2010 1:38 pm

A great dog was laid to rest Friday, CH The Buck Stops Here Regardless MH, my first GSP and constant companion of 12 years, sire of my Tara & grandpa to her new babies, teacher to many a pup and an incredible hunting partner. To say I will miss him would be a huge understatement, he was my baby boy and my pride and joy. He went to work with me daily & was always by my side. He was buried with his favorite thing, a bird, at his favorite place to go, my good friend Johns farm.

Sorry to hear about your loss. They just don't live long enough do they?

I'm sorry to hear of your buddy's passing. He looks like he was a fine old gent.

Z-GSP,
Sorry sir, we lost our GSP Rosie this past year also, she was 18, and my constant companion, I know exactly how you feel.

I have sometimes thought of the final cause of dogs having such short lives and I am quite satisfied it is in compassion to the human race; for if we suffer so much in losing a dog after an acquaintance of ten to twelve years, what would it be if they were to double?" --Sir Walter Scott
HAVE A GREAT DAY!!
GOD BLESS
