Phillips' Rocky Sunday Gun

Post by phillipsgsp » Wed Feb 04, 2009 9:19 pm

We said goodbye to to our first today. A dog that that tought me so much about hunting, dogs, and life. Being my first I would have ruined him if he were any less of a dog. 12 1/2 yrs seemed to go bye quick but we know he is in more comfort now. Rocky was not a trial champ or a Master Hunter but opend the doors for me to learn so much about training and hunting and start the inspiration that I have for bird dogs. This family will miss that old meat dog. 1996-2009.

Saying goodbye is tough..... but he is in a better place watching over every hunt you go on, or test you go to.

The next unbelievable find or impossible retrieve you other dogs have..... You know where a little help came from!

My condolences,

Phil
