My boy Maze

Post by gonehunting77 » Thu Apr 17, 2008 1:07 pm

Maze died March 26th 2008. He went like every bird dog would love to go...I was guideing a hunt in NE at a shooting presevre, about a hour into the hunt my boy Maze went on point and a pheasent got up about 10-15 yards from the hunter. He made a nice shot Maze went over and made about a 25 yard retreave to hand. I gave him a couple good boy rubs then he took off running again went out about 10 yards turned around and looked at me and then fell over dead. I beleave it was a heart attack!! He went to young and not even in is prime. I'll miss him and there will be some lucky pheasents next year sence he gone. ImageThis was taken a few days before he pasted away.

Really sorry to hear about your loss.....it must've been really tough to lose him like that, but it does sound like he went out doing something he loved. :(
