Refurb Astro 220 new DC 40

Any thoughts on buying refurbished? The price is just under 500. I have purchased several refurbed electronic items in the past and had really good luck... What say you?

I have had luck with refurbished things but for $599 at gundogsupply.com you could buy a brand new one.
