Tritronics g2 pro 100 vs pro 200

Tritronics g2 pro 100 vs pro 200? The only difference that I see is that the 100 offers 18 Lvls of continous and 6 Lvls of momentary while the 200 offers 18 Lvls momentary and 6 continuous. My question is why would someone chose one over the other? At the store they had both and I didnt notice the difference until I got home I ended up with the Pro 200, it sounded better than Pro 100 :roll:

Not much of a difference. However, given the choice, I would chose the 100. I would go that route because if I wanted the continuous stimulation it would be available to me. If I didn't need it, I could just remove my fingers from the buttons faster to get the momentary.

Well after further investigation I returned my pro 200 to Cabelas and I am waiting on a new G3 Upland! It looks like on the G3 they moved all of the buttons on the back to the front. They also replaced the screw in type antena with a fixed one. The website says the fixed antena will help acheive the one mile range.

What makes you go for the upland vs say the basic or the other g3 models. Im looking into the tt g3 basic i think it is. What should be the deciding factors this is gonna be my first e collar.

Justs aheads up, if you currenlty own a TriTronics collar. TriTronics is offering a 45% trade in on any new collar or combo as well as accessories. Not a bad deal. I am still using the old sport model. They have been the best units I have used , but it's time to upgrade. Go with the unit providing the most range, as i have yet to see them actually find the range listed as maximum- JMO.

Pear, I stand corrected. the e-mail actually said it is "40%" The offer is called the "TriTronics trade in program" It stated that the special offer was extended for 30 more days and I think I got the e-mail about 2 weeks ago. I would guess it expires in about a week. If I get a chance , I will look it up to verify when it expires.
