Sportdog Tek 2.0 Thoughts/Other E-Collar Suggestions

Hi, all. I'm looking to get an ecollar for my GSP and was wondering if anyone has had experience with the tek 2.0. I get a bit of a discount through work so the tek is $150 cheaper than an alpha, but I wanted to get you all's perspective before proceeding with purchasing one. Thoughts? Opinions? Other suggestions on an ecollar?

I love my Tek 1.0, doesn't have all the bells and whistles I would t use anyway so simple to know where my dogs are and provide correction or warning easily.

My local cabelas had the sport dog tek 2.0 on sale for $499.99 around 2 months ago. I asked the manager why and he stated that Sport Dog was discontinuing it. I have not looked in the store since then, but if you have a cabelas near by and want that collar it was a great deal.

I was not a fan. Ran it for a month.
I'm a Dogtra fan and the Pathfinder is a solid product. Fast, google maps and simple to use. The only concern I have is this winter.... cold and cat tails. The price is right and it's Dogtra.
