I am looking forward to the price coming down and be made available for light trucks and cars.
Really cool idea.

Re: Non-Pneumatic Tire
I read the same article yesterday, seems to have endless upside. Let's see what they cost though.

Good stuff. These tires are phenomenal.
Re: Non-Pneumatic Tire
I read several months ago that Michelien was planning on having them on the market by late this summer. Haven't heard much about them since.

Re: Non-Pneumatic Tire
One of the more interesting un-planned benefits to me is the fact that they are quieter than a traditional tire, that isn't something I would have thought would happen.
I did hear that some "projected" pricing was about $900 a tire, at that price it is cost prohibitive for most of us, but with most technology the longer it is around the more the price comes down. I would like a set on my truck like now! But not for 900 each.

Re: Non-Pneumatic Tire
I would be curious about their load bearing abilities, particularly for a 3/4ton truck used to pull a trailer. But I can assure you that I won't find out till they are at least competitively priced with pneumatic tires.
