Good luck at the trial. A friend of mine will be there with his V, Piqua.

I just saw the running order for that trial.

Lots of great dogs and great competition.

Wish were were coming!

It was nice weather, a little warm. Lots of good dogs. Met some new folks. I REALLY like those grounds.

Two flat tires on the horse trailer on the way home made for a LONG trip.

Anyhow, Saturday the dog pointed a snake and a pile of feathers. Snake climbed up tree. Relocated dog and produced no bird.

Sunday had a GREAT run down with 3 finds and 5 minutes left in brace and I LOST THE DOG. I saw hime run throuh a cut and head down the down wind side of the line and when we rode through that cut the dog was nowhere to be found. Hollered, sent the scout and nothing. I went from a placement to a heart-break. Found the dog 15 minutes later. What a bummer to beat myself like that.
