NGSPA Sharptail Championship

Post by Brooks Carmichael » Fri Aug 02, 2013 3:50 pm

It will start on August 31 and run until conclusion. The grounds are 3 miles north of Ekalaka, Montana. The stakes run in order are ASD, OAA and then OSD. Will run the Derby if time permits. This is German Shorthair Pointer Championship

Will the trial be run on the old courses or the ground north of camp?

Thx.

Tom Davis and I will be going out in a couple of weeks to ride several course. We will decide then depending on the number of birds.

It looks like it is going to be really hot out there in Montana. I hope all the days do okay, mine included.

It was very hot, in the 90's most days and most dogs made the hour. We had some great races and I and others were impressed with their bird finding ability. Plenty of birds. I seem to remember one dog had three finds and one stop to flush. You could not ask for more.
