I would like to let everyone know the elkhorn bird dog club will be holding a walking NBHA field trial at the miller welch wma in Berea Kentucky Feb 23&24. The stakes will be as follows.
-open shooting dog
-open derby
-amateur shooting dog
-amateur derby
-gun dog
-open puppy
We will have a gun dog stake in which anyone that has a hunting dog can compete. The judgement in this stake will cease at flush, meaning your dog does not have to be steady to wing and shot. This is a great way to meet people, compete and give your dog opportunity to point birds. I have attached the ad to this post as it will appear in American Field.
