Mingo Sportsmans Club OH

Has anyone ever run at a FT at this club? Is it suitable for a one hour Shooting dog stake?

Reclaimed strip mine ground with open rolling fields, tree lines and ponds. I believe the organizers will only allow championship events to be held. The venue has been used for the NGSPA Ohio Championship, AF championships and the NAVHDA Invitational.

There are probably some Buckeyes that could chime in with more information than me.

Thanks for the reply... if anyone has run dogs there (horseback) could you give your opinion of the grounds? This would be for a Championship..

Call Hunter Wilcox. He ran the Region 2 AAA there... last year I believe. I have never been there myself.

Been awhile since I've been on GDF so sorry if this is took late for ya..

Yes, it is suitable for hr course. All the times I have run there it is a continuous course.

Mingo Sportsman Club can hold both AA and Shooting dog stakes easily! With approximately 1600 acres dedicated to bird dogs. The ground have been groomed for field trailing and we continue to improve this amazing track. Most recently we have added 2.2 miles to the track by incorporating a large area that was not incorporated into the previous track most people are familiar with. Mingo is 1600 acres of ground dedicated to bird dog field trials. We have been grooming this land for field trials years and we continue to improve it every chance we can! Most recently we added 2.2 miles to the track and thanks to the support of the 20th centry fund we will continue to do so.
