I'm escaping the neverending winter of Minnesota next weekend by making the trip down to Cameron, MO. Anyone else here plan on being there?

Sorry we'll miss ya Chris, we're staying and running both the AA & SD at the Great Plains Championship but will be up @ Cameron the following weekend for the Ringneck GSPC. Then it'll be the Nebraska Wirehair and Nebraska GSPC (Mother's Day weekend) and then we're done for the spring season.
Good luck to you!!!

When I was down seeing Phil a few weeks ago he mentioned that you guys probably wouldnt be at HOA.
After the HOA weekend I will take my girl north, run a handful of puppy stakes before I call it a season after the Memorial Day weekend GSPC of MN trial.
Hopefully after this spring I will have an idea if she might be ready for the futurity or not. If not we'll have some fun hunting this fall and regroup for her Derby season next spring.
Good luck on the rest of your spring season.

Chris,
I live near Cameron, it has been a long winter and the cover is down from all the snow and ice we have had. Right now it is a little muddy but the snow cover is long gone. We are supposed to get more rain mid week and again next weekend. The ground is already saturated so I would be prepared for mud. They have opened these grounds up in the last couple of years and they have a big gravel parking lot for trucks and trailers as well as a large steel building to eat in or just get out of the weather. If you have any questions about places to stay or eat, let me know.

Thanks for the heads up. It may sound crazy but right now a LITTLE bit of mud will be a welcome change for me rather than snow!
