AKC English Setter National Championship

The English Setter Association of America National Field Trial is scheduled to be April 23rd through the 27th 2008. For English Setters Only.

To run in the National Championship stakes, your dog must have placed in a gun dog stake at an AKC Field Trial. You dog must also be listed on AKC’s DNA data base. So you will need to go to AKC.org and order a swab to get your dog DNA'd. This will take six to eight weeks to get the results from AKC so do it now as sometimes the DNA has to be resubmitted.

Your dog must be micro chipped. The dog will be scanned before running in the National event.

There will be a Derby stake for anyone wishing to run a dog that is under two years of age.

In addition there is a raffle supporting the National Field Trial. To order tickets, you may contact Melissa or Sue. The items are: GPS, Electronic Training Collar and a Quilt.
