Awwright! Got 'er done and had a great trial last weekend! Big thanks to the Vizsla Club of Utah for hosting! Great job! I know all the visiting trialers from Montana, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Canada and Idaho really enjoyed themselves and were blown away by the grounds and the birds. This trial continues to grow every year and combined with the Everton Derby Classic attracts top dogs from all the neighboring states (and countries!!) making it truly a regional event. Mother Nature was kind with her abundance of game but wreaked havoc with her weather at times. It was as true a test of bird dogs as can be found in a competitive venue.

The grounds near American Falls, ID held plenty of sharptails, a few pheasants, and a covey or two of huns - a find on a planted chukar wasn't gone win this baby!:


Huge thanks to Judges Rich Burgi(l) and Jeri Robertson(r) of Utah for sticking it out through all Mother Nature had to throw at them - good job guys! Gotta give a shout out to my horse JR for hauling Jeri around for 6 hours on a wet, windy, miserable Sunday!:
