Anyone, Mark? Did Vern's work hold up?

Have any results from this weekend's trial. I left Saturday around 2:30 and hadn't heard anything on the AA and there were still a fair amount of braces to go in the OGD.

Chris,

In Open, Jake edged Vern out. The Judges said they had him first all the way, till Jakes run at the end so we had to settle for 2nd. Of course I wish it were 1st place, but the main thing is he is consistant, he has found at least one bird every trial this year, and has been clean on every course. He ran well in Amtauer too, and had 2 clean finds there also, but did not place. I think the Judges are starting to take note of French Brittany's. One of the Judges told us to go to Badger, thought with Vern's style he would do very well there , but probably won't go. Too far for right now with fuel prices, for an amateur.

I do not recall 3rd and 4th placement, but Boomer was not placed. I saw his run and he did a good job.

Nice job with that second, he usually does a pretty good job. We both have seen Jake enough to know if he's on, he's tough to beat. Did Ian handle him or Matt?

Not to dissappointed with not placing. His run was somewhat flat at times I thought and he had a few minutes of not running hard enough in my book. Just figured with birds as tough to find as they were and all.

Thanks for letting me know and hope to see you up at the GSP trial in a couple of weeks.

Ian handled him both days. And he is a tough dog to beat, when he runs.
