I am going to be in Wyoming end of July and first part of August with 2 bird dogs. Wife and I are road tripping to Devils Tower and a few other spots, bringing the dogs along. Would love to work them on some wild birds along the way.

I have searched WY F&G site and can find nothing about working dogs on wild birds outside of the season on public land. Anyone know if it’s permitted or if there are dates it is permitted?

I recently started working with my pup and trying to find information on what birds, when and where I can use them and its been tough getting information. The Wyoming game and fish website is a little tricky and lacking, and what you find can be confusing and contradictory.
I have had the best luck calling the regional office and asking questions or talking with the local warden.
