On rails training

I am not in the business of showing or presenting finished dogs ,neither am I in the business of selling/telling what a finished dog should do .
I just enjoyed this little 9 month old today doing what she wanted to do anyway, but with a little conditioning and training to keep it fun along the way
All them body and or hand gestures or even pips or two pips have to mean something to the dog ,,,,,otherwise it is just a waste of time and showboating ,

That video put a smile on my face! Thank you Sir.
Imagine what you would have minus the hand gestures and pips! That dog is assuredly capable of that.
I'm with you. Pips and gestures are show-boating and may have place in trials but have little-to-no place in effective wild bird hunting.
Thanks again Polmaise.

Very nice Robert. The Lil black dog is the essence of a spaniel.
