You are an odd duck Polmaise. I make no claims to understanding you, your posts or your motives most of the time.
(Cheers Buddy. )

The dog made a 100 yard retrieve on that GWT and delivered it to hand. Trained via the methods in the DVD I recommended. The dog's joy in delivering the bird is obvious and that is why I posted it.

Enjoyed those pics Average Guy. Thanks.
Such a soft mouth. Reminded me of my GSP bringing me a goose egg once.

Photo from this morning. Hence the title "Perfect Retrieve"

Nobody has mentioned this here, but the way that dog is presenting the bird to AG is the PERFECT presentation. He is sitting, not standing. His nose is straight up looking at the handler. When in this position, he can't back away and it's hard for him to prematurely drop the bird. PERFECT!

Funny thing, GH - I was just about to log in and make that exact comment yesterday when I had to make a break for training, shortened daylight hours, three dogs to work and all that, what-what. While I hedged on interjecting that editorial opinion into a "FF or wait?" thread, glad you did and kudos to AG for the compelling retrieve photos with the game beautifully handled by his Draht in all of them.

You might detect my jealousy even through this medium. :(
