Am starting to look at all my needs for training my first GSP. Need help in finding a means near home for field work with the pup, and any info about pigeons I can get.( Where to aquire? How to keep? Any tips very helpful) .

I think you can pay a yearly fee to train At Kelly Farms Near Hugo. Not certain of that and have no idea How much the fee is. Also if you belong to a Federation Of Field Trial Club (such as GSPCMN) You can get a permit to train at Four Brooks Wildlife Area north of Milaca. Cost is $25 for the year. May to November. That will Be a Forty to Sixty mile drive but It is several thousand acres with grasslands,forest and water. GSPCMN or The Britney Club occasionally have training days there.
You can Always find somebody who will sell you a few Pigeons........................Cj
