I've got a DD pup that just turned 5 months. He's about 50 lbs already, and full of himself. He knows what no, sit, down, and come mean, but don't always listen. He knows that unless I'm right there, he doesn't have to obey if he don't want to.
I picked up a Garmin Pro 550 a few weeks ago, but have not used it on him yet. My main problem is with no. If I say no with him close, he stops. If he's away from me, he's likely to run. Should I start his conditioning as suggested in the perfect start videos? Or is it OK to use for obedience first?
