Greetings, I am new to the forum and I hope someone can help me locate a GOOD trainer for my 3 yr.old Pointer.
She has a great nose, handles well in the field but is busting birds. I need to get her steady to wing and shot.

I live in NY (don't hold that against me) about 40 miles outside of NYC so ideally NY, southern CT, or Northern NJ would work......but I will travel further for the right fit.

Yes, where in NY? I'm in Orange County and we have two reputable trainers that I am aware of. One is Ray Wunderlich out at the Catskill Pheasantry, the other is John Menella at Haven Valley kennels. I'll be starting to work Scout with John for the same reasons, Getting Scout steady to Wing and Shot.
