Do it yourself remote launcher

Post by John S » Thu Sep 20, 2012 12:08 pm

On the site cover page I read where some of the members had developed a remote launcher. I've been unable to find ny information on it though. Can someone provide a link to any information on this project. Thanks.

Try these:

plans: http://gundogforum.com/resources/Remote ... rPlans.pdf

additional/alternative instructions: http://www.oknavhda.com/images/RemoteLauncher.pdf

Also - if you don't need the distance, it would be easy to run a string from a "kick cage" that you could pull from, say, 50 feet or so and let out a bird. If you are interested in that one, I could probably dig up some pics.

Good luck!

Is the Dogtra Ql a good candidate for this project? I can see getting a couple to modify and use

Years ago I welded up some 1/2" box tubing into a release cage. I used the material from a trampoline for the launch bed. I was going to use the servos and remote from remote controlled cars and trucks but never got that far.
Anyone ever tried this approach?
