Hello, it seems I have access to pheasants more than anything else in my area. I would think they are NOT suitable for training since they are running birds?
Tell me what you think, thank you
pheasant for training?

You could use them in a manual or remote launcher to keep them from running. It would probably take a heck of weight, but you could improvise a card or something to keep them from flying off forever. I had thought of using a light-weight bungee cord material with about 40 yards of polychord staked into the ground next to the launcher.
Just like a big pigeon! Just ideas from me, I've never tried it on anything that big yet. Just pigeons and quail.
