What a difference a week makes! (maybe this is a brag?)

Took my girl out again on Saturday to work some quail. It's amazing when you can watch things finally come together for your dog. It's almost like the light came on in her head. Conditions were better this week, just the right amount of wind. It's cool to see them get that scent and snap their head around. Still not steady on point, she wants to get in their and get that darn bird, but I was very pleased to see her start to use her nose like I knew she could. Long way to go to get her where I want her, but it's amazing to see the progress she's made in a couple weeks.
