Quail House

I got plans for a 8' x 8' x 6'H quail house from Lion county Supply and it did'nt include any background info. I'd appreciate it if someone could tell me how many chicks I should order to take it to maximum capasity.

I have a 4 x 4, 6 feet high. I do not buy chicks, because they die readily. I buy birds that are at least 12 weeks. Carrying capacity of my johnny house is 35 quail.

Is it safe to keep quail and chukar in the same house?

I have two chukar in with my quail right now. seems to work ok. need a different funnel for chukar though, if you intend to recall them. they recall well.
