Training Birds

I’ve recently been trying to train my GSP. In my search for birds I have purchased a pidgeon trap and the more I thought about it the more I realized how hard it would be to trap a pidegon. I live in South GA and while I haven’t paid attention I’ve never seen pidegons around here. With that being said I was looking at buying some quail from a guy that raises them near me. However, I’m not sure how to keep quail, so I wanted to see other people’s methods. Have y’all bought/built cages to keep quail in, or do yall just buy one or two quail as you need them?
