Training collar
Has anyone used the D.T. Systems R.A.P.T. 1450 Upland Training Collar? I am looking at getting a new collar for my GSP. I haven't found any reviews on it. I hunt mostly pheasants and grouse, so I am looking for a beeper/trainer combo, preferably with a locator option. Any recommendations?

My strong suggestion is to just get a Garmin Alpha 100 and TT15 combo and call it a day.
It has everything.

I have not tried one but I sure like the idea of having the transmitter at my hand while gunning. With a lanyard mount transmitter there is no way of correcting quick enough if dog goes on flush. AND they sure do know when you have that gun in your hand.

Re: Training collar
Not sure why anyone would waste time or money on anything other than dogtra or TT/Garmin

DT systems makes quality products and are easy to work with (in my experience). If you do your research and find a collar that fits your requirements.
