Robert P, I'm sure that during some of the place board training of both these dogs live pigeons were used in very close proximity to where the dogs were sitting attentively at place.
The exercises you used in your kennel are excellent off shoots of creative place training.

Tuck heads down for pointy types Dizzy and throw in for flushing types.
