Collar Question?

Post by RuttCrazed » Tue Dec 19, 2006 10:58 am

Has anyone ever used the Lion Country Supply e-collar with the beeper? http://www.lcsupply.com/Brand/Better-LC ... ainer.html

My brother is thinking about getting this one and was wondering what kind of feedback I had heard on it. I had the Innotek TT-100 and it was good for about a year, then it went down hill fast, this collar looks exactly like it.
I now have a Tri Tronics Upland Special and love it, but my brother is looking for something smaller.

Any comments would be great.

Rutt
I believe it is a innotek made for LC.
I have a SportDog that I run 2 collars off of. I have been really happy with it. Very reasonable priced but doesn't have as many adjustments as Dogtra's or Tri tronics. That said I think I will upgrade to a Dogtra as I have one of there bird releases and I am very happy with it.
If you are interested in a Dogtra get ahold of Marty M. He is a dealer and can help you out.
I also know of a used dogtra 2 collar system for sale. I believe he wants 150 for it. PM Lawdog he has the info on the owner.

Smaller is not always better. TT has been doing this for about 40years now. I'd stick with a proven winner, even if it is some larger. Size doesn't really matter anyhow (to dogs).
LIFE WITHOUT BIRD DOGS AND FLY RODS REALLY ISN'T LIFE AT ALL.

Partial to Tri-tronics here, have a Field 70 two dog that I have been using for years. Have some frineds that swear by Dogtra, probably would be my second choice.

Go with either Dogtra or Tri-tronics. They are the best collar Manufacturers hands down. They have good quality and good customer service. I am a dealer for Dogtra and Tri-tronics, and I have the opportunity to be a dealer for Innotek. You could not pay me to put a Innotek collar on one of my dogs. I will not sell anything that I would not personally use.

Save your money and go with a SportDog unit. I have one and it's been in the water, mud, any element you can think of. No problems and great prices on the units. They also have LIFETIME warranty. Unbeatable in my book. You'll see a number of posts if you do a search on ecollars that SportDog has never let anyone down.

I have used Sport dog collars for the last two years and it has worked great. I recently had the remote quit working and they sent me another in just two days. they have a great customer service and the life time warranty is great. for the money I wouldn't go with another collar.
