They're pretty pricey...
But they look like the best DVD sets I've seen ( In my limited time searching )
Anyone else used them?

Re: perfect start DVDs
I purchased the perfect start in August and started training my new pup using the techniques. So far it has been working well and I plan to get the perfect finish this summer.

They are very detailed and easy to follow as they show a methodical step by step process. The entire set is 5 DVD's lasting several hours, compared to many DVD programs that show starting to finishing a dog steady to wing and shot, backing, etc. in an hour long DVD. They also use dogs that are currently at the level of training that is being demonstrated, compared to other DVD's that use a finished dog during all of the demonstrations. The program does not put a lot of pressure on the dog and seems to work well for many people. A beginner might find them particularly helpful due to the detailed step by step process. The program also uses a lot of birds.

You could live without a dog, but it would not be worthwhile.

You can always sell them on here later, after you are done using them . You'll see them being sold on here every once in awhile---but they are usually bought up pretty soon after being posted

I wish they would re-film them. Every time I watch them it is like taking a trip back to 1990.
