Training grounds?

I was just wondering if anyone has ever use a golf course for running dogs? I have access to a course that I live by that will allow me to run my dogs during their down time. I thought it would be great for teaching them to run lines and hit objectives. Plus I can build a jonny house and use bobwhites. It is far enough away from roads that the dogs can really stretch out.

Anyone ever do this? Pro's/cons?

sounds good. Plenty of edges and rough areas . I knew a person years ago that developed his puppy on a golf course. She was a big Juvenal winner.
