Grant, I just had three of them done, cost of the x-ray should run between $75.00 and $100.00 with the fee to OFA being $30.00 each dog. My best advice to you would be, too seek a Vet who really knows and understands what and why you are asking for this service. I had a bad experiance with one of the finest vets in my area who simply had little or no experiance with OFA. It's more than just an x-ray. Positioning of the dog makes all the differance in the world. Also females should not be done within 30 days either side of thier heat cycle. I'm sure there is much other advice out there, but that is my input. I hope it helps. Thanks, "pear"

Yikes!!! I'm driving down to your vet for OFA's, Pear! I pay between $350 and $400 for them. It does pay to call around and get references of past customers...does Brenda get hers OFA'd? I'm sure she'd know of a good vet to call.

I have driven down to Roswell for several dogs, Dr. Kestle is very good. Around 150. Our vet up here is doing a good job, last 3 were excellent. I think it is around 125. Then the fee to OFA.

My vet in central Iowa chatges $109.65 for the fillms. Add in th $30 for OFA and you are right at $140 to get an OFA certification.
