Rescue harnesses
Have any you used a rescue harness to get your dog out of the field? Recommendations? Things to avoid?

Re: Rescue harnesses
I was going to ask the same question.
Googled it , but still unsure of how it is used in the field. perhaps the OP can explain.

Re: Rescue harnesses
I hope the OP corrects me if I'm wrong. I believe they're referring to those slings or lifts much like you'd use to move an injured dog or rehab a dog following an orthopedic procedure in your clinic. However these are designed with straps so that you can carry the dog out like a backpack. The idea is they're small and simple enough to carry in your vest in the event your dog gets injured.

Thanks for the link. I see you live in Arizona; I can see that being a good idea in Arizona. Here in Ontario, I can't think of a use for that much. Worse thing that can happen here is the dog falling through the ice and not able to get out.
