Just wondering if anyone is using this food and do you like it? If so what are you paying for it? They have 2 different versions 32/25 and 25/25 protein/fat.

I don't put much stock in any of the dog food ratings. But this was about all I could find on the Caninex formula. Same goes for Dog Food Advisor. I don't agree with most of their ratings. Let's use ProPlan as an example. In any of the dog food ratings ProPlan is generally not rated real high, yet I would guess that the vast majority of breeders, trainers and field trial people feed ProPlan. There are so darn many dog foods out there today it's difficult for the consumer to know what's best for their dog except through trial and error. It appears that the OP is looking for a less expensive dog food. I don't think ProPlan is what I would call expensive. I can buy a 37.5 lb. bag on Chewy.com for around $40 with auto ship. Any time you can get a quality dog food, regardless of brand, for approx. $1 per pound I think it's a pretty good deal. As much money that we spend on our dogs (vets, training, etc.) saving $5-10 per bag doesn't make much sense unless you have a lot of dogs.ezzy333 wrote:Why would you believe the ratings when you know nothing about who, how, or why they are being rated? I see several glaring errors in the explanations they have posted which makes me wonder about the rest of their ratings accuracies.
For once I agree with youDakotazeb wrote:I don't put much stock in any of the dog food ratings. But this was about all I could find on the Caninex formula. Same goes for Dog Food Advisor.
