Dr. Tim's Momentum dog food

Post by ElkMtnGSP » Mon Mar 31, 2014 11:35 am

Any opinions on this dog food for a hyper active GSP?

We've been feeding 1.5 cups/day of this food for the last couple of months with good results.

Looks like a very good feed. My hyper Llewellin does well on a good quality 26-18 formula(sportsmans mix), and it costs about 56 cents a pound tax included.

Most average activity dogs need no more than what I feed, but the feed you describe is fine if that's what you want. If the amount is adjusted properly, there probably are advantages to it.

My dog (40 pounds) eats about 1 1/2 to 2 cups a day, and more in cold weather.
